On September 11th myself and three others volunteered to stand guard duty on a Navy pier while a ship was being loaded with
gear and vehicles. The ship had a large crane in the middle of it and wasn't being used until 11:00 pm. Once the
operator showed up a medical humvee was rolled into place over a steel netting. The crew were very careful to stay clear of
the vehicle as it was being lifted.
I knelt down to snap the picture just as it left the ground. The vehicle you see is only 2-3 feet in the air. The camera
I used is a digital but photos cannot be viewed until you plug it into the computer and I didn't even know I had this strange
photo for several days. When I began going through the pictures stored on it I almost deleted it because it was very dark.
However, the camera came with a program to brighten and clean up pictures. As I began brightening and setting the contrast
the image in the bottom right started showing up. At first I didn't think much of it but I saved it anyway.

I keep the original unchanged photo on the camera. Because you can't view photos in the camera you cannot modify them in any
way... So, now I have this picture that I have no idea what to do with it except share it. What do you make of it? Respectfully,
Steve Cady Thanks Steve, great photo!
