We, being me and my son, have had some very strange occurences in our home since my husband died a few years back.
At first it started out with what we would call mischevious acts such as the television turning itself on and off.
We checked the remote controls to see if they were malfunctioning because we use a multifunction (aftermarket) remote for
our television. It appears to be ok and there were no batteries in the old remotes that are in the drawer.
We have no neighbors that have the same televisions that we do. There were several times when we could hear the television
on from the other room, but go to check on it and it would be off. There were also times where we would go to bed, hear it
on, go turn it off and a few minutes to a few hours later we would hear it on again and go check and it would be on again.
Also there was an in instance where I heard my husbands voice behind me in the living room and it sounded so real I turned
around, there was nother there, but my little dog was staring very intently into that direction where the sound seemed to
originate from.
On several occasions while I was lying in bed it would feel like someone came in and sat down on the bed because the mattress
would sink down on the end. My son came in the house from outside one time and saw a man being of the same height as his father
and wearing the same kind of clothes that he wore dart down the hall, but upon taking a second look, there was nothing there.
There is a still ongoing thing that ever so often occurs where It feels as if someone were massaging my feet. This has
happened on several occasions. On one occasion in particular, this persisted for several minutes. I called my son into the
room and asked him if he could see the covers moving or anything and he said no, he told me that maybe it was palpations from
my heart i was feeling in my feet as that is one area where you can check a persons pulse.
I described the sensation in more detail to him and he then thought otherwise. I asked him to place his hands on
my feet and see if he could feel it and he could. He was even able to describe the type of pressure and exact motion and direction
of the strokes on my feet. The was by far the strangest incident yet.
We have also had the general sensation of feeling his presence in different rooms in the house at different times. We also
feel my mothers presence very strongly in her room at times, she passed close to 10 years ago now.
